Sea salt is a super-efficient cleanser, absorbing dirt and toxins from the skin to leave the skin feeling purified.

As well as drawing out dirt and toxins, Activated Charcoal can also draw out oil from your skin. This means less oil is built up and your skin can perform better at combating breakouts.
Another benefit is that activated charcoal creates a mattified effect, as opposed to the shiny effect caused by oily skin. It can also reduce the size of open pores, making your skin feel relieved, brightened, and clean.

A fantastic natural exfoliating powder, Pumice Stone is formed when lava and water mix together. It's a light-yet-abrasive stone used to remove dry, dead skin, and is a great addition in soap for a full body exfoliating bar.

Coconut Oil can boost the moisture content of dry skin, and also improve function, helping to prevent excessive water loss and protecting from external factors, such as infections, chemicals, and allergens.
Containing fatty acids, like lauric and capric acid, they are fantastic at keeping skin healthy due to their anti-microbial properties, killing harmful micro-organisms that can grow on our skin.

Castor is an important ingredient in soap making, helping to increase the rich lather and a lovely bubbly bar.
Castor Oil is rich in ricinoleic acid, a mono-unsaturated fatty acid. These types of fats can be used to moisturise the skin – helping to prevent or reduce water loss through the outer layer of the skin

Typically known and used for it’s moisturising effects – tied to it’s fatty acid content, including linoleic, oleic and stearic acids.
These oils are rapidly absorbed into the skin, acting as a ‘refatting’ agent, restoring lipids and creating moisture. This helps restores the barrier between your skin and the outside environment, holding moisture in and reducing risk of dryness.
